It was a paying job, don't ask, don't tell. I'm sure I lost huge on labor and it was a gift certificate for them. It's my wife's co-workers husband. We are good friends to boot. I did charge a little more as it was a big truck. If I were in it for the money, I would be bankrupt.....I like to earn a buck or two and make cars shine. They want me to do thier Honda Accord now too!
Wow! Looks great Aaron. Your friend should be impressed.
Are you still using your Chicago Electric Rotary on your details or have you upgraded to something different? I was curious if you still liked that rotary. I've been contemplating purchasing one just to have around to play with and for the occasional time that I may need the added power of a rotary.
I still have ol' reliable. It's probably not as powerful as far as "load" speed, but it has worked so far. I figured out why I was slinging product so bad....I'm left handed. Tim Lingor has been in touch with me about the Rotary and gave me some pointers and about picking up a bead....I know the video's had it but just didn't click...... I thought it was going to die on me when I was about finished, but it came unplugged part way and was intermitteningly (is that a word?) going off and on....
Wow Aaron, that was a very complete detail, and your write up with great pictures is like a pictorial how-to article for others to follow.
Excellent job.
Thanks a lot Mike, I put a lot of time analyzing paint and interior before I take off. When I do put the write up, I hit Preview Post about 10 times to make sure I told my story good. I think I've improved the story telling after reading so many good stories to date
To the rest of you guys, who commented. Thank you so much, means a lot to me. I enjoy reading you all's posts, some really great artists out there and hope to throw one out here and there.

Aaron, you've gotten to be a real master at bringing some pretty disgusting interiors back to like new condition. I'm really impressed with how thorough your work is inside and out.
Great write-up and pictures! Can't wait to see what you do with the Honda.

Why do we drive on a Parkway, and park on a Driveway
It is you guys who inspire me to do a good job and your post's I read to be able to do what I do.
I came into this game using dish soap, dry with an old beach towel and use a cheapo wax in the sun and remove with another scratchy old towel! I thought I had one great ride!
RUNNING WITH SCISSORS!
The pleasure has been mine and if anyone can benefit from my experience! Then by all means it is worth it and it makes someone happy they got a nice clean rig and I got a couple of bucks in my pocket for the effort

Aaron, once again I love your attention to detail. Taking things apart to clean them is the only way to go if you have the time and the owner doesn't mind you doing it. Just like your Neon, the truck turned out unbelievably well.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
