  • 2003 Acura RSX (Black) *56k Fail*

    Hello all,

Business has been great ever since I started detailing on the side. As you know the economy is hurtin' and I'm doing what I can to stay on top of savings.

I completed another job over the weekend on a black 2003 RSX which needed some help. The paint condition was pretty bad, it felt very dry as if it was washed with dish washing soap and completly drained of nutrients (previous owner). The car was also covered in swirls and watermarks so I knew my hands were filled.

Looks good! No tire shine? Didn't see any on the tires in the one picture. Great job!

I meant too but the paint took a lot longer to correct then I expected and the customer came to pick up the car around 12am. I did however degrease the rims/tires/wheel wells with Meguiars Super Degreaser 4:1 concentrate.

Looks good. Did you have to work in the open sun? I know our Texas sun is relentless.

Oh god, I can't even imagine trying to detail a car in the open sun here. Thankfully my apartment garage did the trick and it was a pretty cool day.
