  • 1st Detail of 2009

We finally got some decent weather in NE Indiana this weekend, well at least it was in the 60's, but it was cloudy and rainy. So I detailed my '07 Buick Lucerne. It wasn't in to bad of shape so I didn't take any before pics and also didn't clay as I didn't feel it needed it. It is a daily driver and the winter has been pretty harsh here this year.
    Here is my process:
    Wash with Gold Class Shampoo
    205 w/G100 using W8006 pad @speed #5
    NXT 2 w/G100 w/W9006 pad @speed #3 removed w/bonnet @speed #5
    NXT Tire Cleaner
Hot Rims Chrome Polish followed w/NXT paste
    Hot Shine Tire Gel
Interior: QID followed by Natural Shine - Didn't clean carpets due to lack of time. Will do that later this week.
    Detailer Glass Cleaner
All Season Dressing for fender well & engine compartment. I know ASD is not recommeded for the engine compartment but I was not going to be driving for awhile so I figured it would be safe.

    Here are some afters. Enjoy.

Great work. The winter does not look like it was too harsh on her. Looks great. way to go.

I have luxory of a semi-heated garage with floor drains that work if you do not try to run tomuch water down them. Plus I was layed off until early January so I washed it pretty much every week, which I am sure helped a lot on keeping it in pretty good shape.
Thanks for all of the compliments.

Really nice rims. I'm also happy the winter is almost over as I can again spend time on my cars.
The Buick looks great. Chrome details do add a lot to the appearance of the car.
