Car looks great. I noticed that you have tape around the bottom of your Porter Cable. I am new to this, so is there a reason for doing this?

i have seen it done by some pro's believe its a caution thing as with the spot pads and smaller backing plate the machine can easily want to fall sideways and would rather have the tape hit the paint than metal, hope this helps
