ok so here is my detail on the expedition, here are some before pictures, mind you this is after a wash, and yes i did buy the truck in this condition but i was able to talk the dealer down because i told him it needed a repaint.
after wash, out in the sun at 9 am
so my process was wash the car with nxt shampoo
next clay the entire car because it had overspray from the repair on the side door.
PC with megs 83 with lc orange pad
PC with m09 with white pad
PC with m07 show car glaze (to protect new paint)
PC to put 2 coats of nxt 2.0 for protection
tomorrow for curiosity i might put some hi tech yellow wax on top to see if i notice a difference
before i post the afters some notes:
So i bought the clay today and it came with a supreme shine microfiber towel, I had never used one as i just use the target microfibers... Holy cow the difference is amazing between the two, If I was a little baby and i got ahold of the supreme shine towel, id be like linus from the peanuts comic strip, I told me wife that for my birthday she has to get me like 10 of these.
The car came out 90% corrected, I needed something stronger than 83 for the RIDS, and some of the scratches, but honestly its a daily driver, as long as it looks good from 5 feet thats all i care about.
Tomorrow i am going to work on the interior, and ill add those shots to this thread.
