  • A little more progression on the Lightning...

This has to be the longest running project I've ever done I don't have much free time to devote to working on the Lightning, but it's slowly getting there. Here's some more progression...

What year is that? Looks like the early to mid-90's Lightning?

                Nice work Nick!

We need a profile shot in this thread to give everyone the 'big picture' point of view of your new project truck.

Thanks guys! With a full time job plus a business, its hard to spend more than 2 hours on it at a time. I'm about 80% done right now. Hope to be completely finished in another week or so.

Colonel- it's a 1994 model. I'll get full pictures up after it's completed.

Looks great, Nick! What direction are you heading with this car? Drag, street, cruiser, show...etc.

I say lift it and make it the first 4x4 Lightning.

In so many ways is lifted better than anything else.

Haha Ryan, you crack me up.

For some reason I don't think a lift kit is in the future for this Lightning

I hear you though, lifted can certainly be fun...personally, I like both lifted and lowered/aggressive street stance vehicles.
