2001 Yukon, exterior only.

This vehicle belongs to a co-worker of my roommates. She originally just wanted it waxed but I had him talk her into a 1-step as it was hammered with car wash scratches and surface defects.


Wash - Gold Class
Wheels - Wheel Brightner
Tires/wheel wells - Meguiars APC+
Clay - Smooth Surface Clay kit
Buffing - Meguiars M80 via Flex and W8207 pad
Wax - NXT 2.0
Chrome - Meguiars M105 on side moldings, Meguiars Hot Rims on bumpers.
Tires and trim - Meguiars Hyper Dressing
Wheel Well dressing - Meguiars Water Based Dressing
Glass - 3M Glass cleaner (Detailer line)

Congrats on the engagement! May you have a long and happy marriage like I have had, 28 years in May. The Yukon looks awesome! I just did my daughters '03 Pathfinder without a correction and it took me 6 hours! I guess at 52 I am a little slower and it takes me longer!

Great work on the Yukon, they aren't too bad to work on. M105 is great stuff for that metal trim! I had those same spots, but came out. Weird. LOL.

2 passes.

The 50/50 shot does not show a lot of the deeper scratches that didn't come all they way out. I would have loved to do a full correction, but it wouldn't make sense for this customer as she does not hand wash the vehicle.

That's a huge improvement and it's not even a full corretion. Great job as always and congrats on the engagement!! I just reached the 5 month anniversary of being married and it's been great.
