I recently added a fiberglass tonneau to my truck as I've been wanting one for well over a year. Upon arrival, the lid was slightly swirled (caused by poor buffer techniques from the factory post-painting apparently). I negoitated with the selling dealership to make the lid a little cheaper pending I'd still accept delivery.
I took pictures of the swirls but, in my infinite wisdom, I deleted them before I took them off my camera (yes, I'm a bonehead). None the less, I have pictures of the final product. Note the sticker on the back glass, driver's side lower.
The Astro Platinum Fiberglass Tonneau:

Color match / Clarity:

Reflectivity Defined:

Products Used:
Meguiar's #9 2.0 Swirl Remover with a DA and 8006 pad
NXT with a DA and 9006 pad (2 coats)
#26 with a DA and 9006 pad (2 coats)
Needless to say, I took the discounted topper and ran out the door with a big grin on my face knowing that the swirls wouldn't be a problem!
