New look for the Mag..

Hows this for a first..

I had a fellow magnum owner compliment on how well my car always looks (much appreciated of course i try hard to keep it "clean looking")

well he had some 20 inch rims on his car hes been trying to sell with no luck, and gives me the proposition, "hey i"ll give u the wheels on my car, plus a 5th wheel ,new in the box for a complete detail"

my response, "what a set of wheels for doing what i love to do, and on a car i love...say no more.".this was about 2 months ago, well 2 weeks ago was the day i detailed the car, from engine bay to swirl removal, and interior clean up..no pics of that job, as i was set on knocking it out, and not stopping for pics etc, well 11 hours later, it was done and the owner was blown away..

so this past weekend was my time to put the wheels on my car,as well as a fresh coat of m26 , the wheels are nothing flashy, but has a nicer clean stock look..

Looks good...

Never been a fan of black wheels... makes the wheel well area too dark.

Dark area, (The wheel well are is shaded and usually dark), black tires, black wheels = too dark.

thanks guys i actually like the all black look on the magnum, and will be powder coating these black over the winter when i take them off..

yup it was a great trade..i enjoyed detaling his whip, and enjoy the wheels...

the guy was trying to sell the rims for a few months, starting asking price was 750, and he dropped the price as low as 450 and stil couldnt sell them..

yeah he would have easily been charged 350 - 400 , so me feeling like i made out like a fat rat, i offered to give his magnum another exterior detail after the winter..

plus being he lives in queens, that advertising covergae out there for me, lol...

Nice car. Is it the 3.5L V6 or the V8? Either way, the vehicle sounded really nice in the video. I have a love/hate relationship with black cars. I love the looks of a perfectly clean black car and I am OCD enough to never be completely satisfied with my details. (bad enough with my bright red car)
