no cameras in our lot, just security that patrol in there hehicles, spoke to them already too, nothing was seen, and i walked all 3 levels of the parking garage, checking every car that was silver or white, which matches te color on my car, and no matching damage.

to make matters worst, the weather dropped quite a bit in temp this weekend, the cold caused more paint cracking across the bumper..definately needs to be replaced..

That is terrible. Someone clipped your car and to make it worse, can't even own up to it. I feel bad for you. I would cruise the lot looking for any paint transfer that matches your paint. Then have a "friendly" chat with them. Sorry to hear about it.

um... correction my friend... the wheels are sick! The outside of the car looks "complete" with those wheels on it. Good job on the trade... now if I can get someone to give me some wheels for a detail job that would be great! he he

That's the worst part about cars is that so many people, who don't care about their, can mess up yours. The worst part is that so many people are just oblivious to it and they don't even know/care that they did anything.

As far as the black wheel discussion, I don't like them and I don't think I ever will. I agree that it just gives that too dark/black look. Even clean, I just don't like the look, plus you almost can't tell where the wheel ends and the rim begins. And don't get me started on the black with silver lips, I'm not a fan either.

well that good feeling of having something, new or new to me atleast was trashed yesterday, when i went out to my car lunchtime in our parking garage at work, mind u i park on the top level, way out back, almost the last row, and its in no mans land all alone..and can be seen clearly from our office windows..

well i start talking to another guy who parks up there like i do as well, maybe 20 spots over from me, i go to my trunk to get something to show him, i open te trunk, and as i look down, i see my paint all cracked on the top of the rear bumper, so im like wtf, step back to look and sure enough , someone somehow ( the how part is still mind boggling, as i can tell how they hit me unless it was intentional)

well right to the right of my plate is the initial impact damage, cracked bumper, scuffs in a upward to the right pattern.. 60% of the bumper has those stress cracks in the bumper from the impact, man they did a lil number on the thing, so now im bummed, and have to buy a new bumper and have it repainted, but im going to wait till after winter..

today i got out hte scratch x and got all the scuffs off, some scratches, but the cracked chipping paint and the cracked bumper is still the eyesore..not even a full week with the rims on ...

I was starting to think I was the ONLY one....

To me, dark wheels look dirty, as in, covered in 3-6 months worth of brake dust.

Plus, it seems to just ruin the flow *in my eyes* compared to a properly matched set of wheels.

That said, I've seen a few rides here and there with dark wheels that looked sharp, but overall I tend to lean for something to provide a little tasteful contrast.

Oh, and...

I feel the same way about cars with tinted windows. It seems they always look darker / dirtier than cars without tint. Plus, having bright polished wheels really helps brighten up the finish. They reflect light really well, black wheels do not do this.

Nice car. Is it the 3.5L V6 or the V8? Either way, the vehicle sounded really nice in the video. I have a love/hate relationship with black cars. I love the looks of a perfectly clean black car and I am OCD enough to never be completely satisfied with my details. (bad enough with my bright red car)

the guy was trying to sell the rims for a few months, starting asking price was 750, and he dropped the price as low as 450 and stil couldnt sell them..

yeah he would have easily been charged 350 - 400 , so me feeling like i made out like a fat rat, i offered to give his magnum another exterior detail after the winter..

plus being he lives in queens, that advertising covergae out there for me, lol...
