1999 Toyota Corrola

This car belongs to a friend of mine. It's kept outside 24/7 and is her daily driver. The roof and hood are starting to show some clear coat failure. I just got some M105 and D151 and was hoping to try them with my G100, but decided I should use Color X instead.

I was a little disappointed with the condition of the car because I really wanted to see how much correction I could do. But at least my friend was happy. Just one of those details where I wish I could have done more, but knew I probably shouldn't

Not only does it look better but it will be easier for your friend to keep up now that you done the hard work.

Nice job on the Corolla. These cars are almost bulletproof in their reliability. My next door neighbor haa one from the same vintage with over 250k on the odometer and she does the bare minimum of preventative maintenance on it.

I would try D151 and compare.

Thanks for all the responses everyone!

I think the condition of the paint made me decide on something less aggressive than D151. There are areas of clear coat failure on the hood and roof and I felt that it might have made things worse. I'll have to try using D151 and M105 on my car sometime as I just got it back from the body shop a few weeks ago.
