Just p/u a gallon of D151 today for a quick freshen up on this 1950 Chevy Deluxe with a few holograms,light scratches and some road film. P/C DA W8207 spent about 4 hrs.
how come it looks like there are scratches/swirls around the reflection of the lights
He wasn't going for 100% perfection- he had a DA and 4 hours and only a medium polish AIO...all considered, it looks great!
To get a black car of that size to what most would consider perfection would require a MINIMUM of 10 hours on the paint alone in my opinion, but more like 12+ if you truly strive for "as good as it gets."

I forgot to add paint gauge showed 1.5 -2 mill I could not push much futher or I would of had to switch to all metal polish. lol Thanks.
Thanks Mike, Do you remember how much film build you had to work with ? The owner of this one was told it was orig.and I looked for signs of a re work and could not find any and film thickness was right at 1.5-2 mill all over
