A really good customer of mine has saved his money and brought this 2001 plate Ford Focus. After I fitted a new turbo for him, he has been on about me detailing it for weeks. So yesterday I was feeling a little better and said i'd give it a go for him. I couldn't believe the state of the car body  On the surface it was passable. . . ish but once i'd washed it with a meg's gold class. . . . Well I'll let the pictures do the talking. . . .
We decided to start with the wheels as they can't have been off the car in years for cleaning
Before

Left to soak in Meg's all wheel cleaner

After a good scrubbing then clay baring and another wash quickly followed up by polishing and waxing

Whlie the wheels were off being cleaned he decided to paint the drums on the rears as they were rusty this is the result

So on with the car body it was getting late so i decided to make a start on the front wing
General condition wasn't great years of car park bangs and car washers had taken their toll.

Here is sneak perview of the front wing before and after

After 4 passes with Scratch X

To be continued . . . . . .
