  • Vauxhall Cavalier - sort of

After my operation on friday i'm unable to do anything of any good So I've had this wing kicking around for a while to practice my rotary skill on
    It's off a 1992 Vauxhall Cavalier, in a very faded red :?
    Hope you like
    As it was.

Washed with Washing up liquid just to clean the wing completely of any (cough) polish that was put on it

Quick spray with detailer and you can see what i'm up against

Bit of clay baring just to see how it comes up surprising enough not that dirty(sorry about shot)

    After claying

I just decided to use what I had - so these are my weapons of choice

And some gold class polish to finish
After shots :- Left the tape on till the end so you can see the difference

    Spray of quick detailer

If I had some colour restorer it would have come out even better but not bad for a couple of hours of wasted time
    Any comments welcome 8)

Great work Craig! It's nice to see a write up on these over the counter consumer products - we see so much talk here about our Mirror Glaze line that these products get overlooked sometimes.

Thanks for taking the time to document your work here and to show the real power of the Deep Crystal System!

Nice work. It is nice to see a write-up on the consumer line. Lets you know that Meg's doesn't "wimp" out on any of their products. Good job, and good luck with your recovery

Nice work. That is a great write up, on how the system works. Thanks for taking the time to write it up and document with the pics.

        Hope your feeling better soon.

Nice work, I assume you did that by hand.
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.

Re: Vauxhall Cavalier - sort of

Thanks for your kind words guys. Most of it was done by hand only used the rotary to apply the stage 2 polish process but found to hard to hold onto so finished it all by hand.

I know this was a little random but really bored. Looking forward to doing the bonnet next. But going to use some colour X I think to restore the colour

Great job on the write up Craig. As everyone has mentioned it is nice to see the OTC products produce just as good of a shine. Love the beading too.
