And some pictures after polishing with rotary polisher (first try) and Menzerna Power Gloss on wool pad,and Menzerna RD3,02 on LC CCS 5,5'' white polishing pad with DA polisher...

Tomorrow i will do the finish with Megs #80 on polishing pad with DA polisher and #7 by hand..
I will do the wheels interior and engine bay next week.
In the future i have to wetsand it because of the orange peel that is on the paint...
Thanks for looking, and as always advises are welcome...Also if there is anywhere a ''wetsand guide'' pls let me know

Sad to say, the quality of work you received from the painter is the norm for the industry...

Good job undoing the damage though...

Wow, I can see the concept you were starting out with, off white faded into solid black, but the painter failed miserably on the front end to doors transition by not really fading the front in at all. They did a slightly better fade on the rear section, but nothing like the concept drawing. I would have never accepted it, but maybe you should take it back to have the front fade done properly. As the artist concept shows, it should consist of a blend of colors, not just the off white fogged onto the door.

As a note on painting in general, one of the worst things you can do is a color change. Unless all the body panels are, at least partially, disassembled and stripped, it is a nightmare to get it right. On resale it generally kills the value on trade in.

You are 100% correct on what you said...
Unfortunately he cannot do something better than that..That's why i found the cheapest painter to do it
Other painters wanted the double money just to respray the same colour...
I will find a way to repair it by my self,or by stick a decal or find someone to do some paintbrush work on it....

How about a straight non-fade respray of the off white to the door color? Maybe the painter will cut you a break on it and it would seem a lot less $ than trying to do the fade.

I was thinking about that but i don't know if it is going to look good.
I was thinking also to respray the doors adding a lighter grey-silver between dark gray and white

The off white is one heck of a contrast to overcome. You can see how the artist has just about the entire fender tinted with the door color.
