Happy Friday to everybody!! Hope you had a great week.
KerrinJeff and I detailed an Accord last night that ended up being more work than I thought. The owner takes her small dog with her everywhere, so there was dog hair EVERYWHERE. To make matters worse, some of the interior was velour and that made it extremely difficult to get the hair out. My shopvac did very little in the way of the hair, fortunately an old Oreck was made available to us that had a nice little set of bristles that picked up a lot of it. However the Little Green Machine did a great job and got the rest. The paint had a lot of scuffs that the owner wanted minimized at the least, and removed at the best.
Products used:
Meg's mild clay
UQD
Vinyl and Rubber Natural shine
APC+ (10to1)
Flex with M80 & LC Orange pad
M105 by hand (one area)
NXT 1.0 applied w/ flex on LC Black pad
Luckily, most of the scratches were paint from door dings, so the clay easily removed most of them. The rest came off with one pass of the 80 on the flex. There was one area that the 80 didn't remove completely, so M105 was applied by hand. That scratch is all but gone.

Kinda hard to see all the dog hair, but it was everywhere.

There were plenty more, but you get the idea. Now a few interior after pics.

Oh, this is what the LGM extracted from just the mats

I know its a long write-up, but Jeff and I thank you all for looking!
P.S. Anybody have a good way for getting hair off of carpets any easier than what we had to go through?
