  • Grand Marquis Detail - Novice

I helped a friend of mine detail his Grand Marquis today. He has never waxed this car since owning it (2002/2003 model) - purchased in 2003. Here's the processed we used:

Washed with DC - 2 bucket system/ Megs hot rims on wheels
Both bars from the Meg Smooth Surface Clay Kit
    Cleaner Wax
Topped with Gold Class Liquid Wax
    Sprayed Black Magic on tires

Even though it's black, the paint lacked depth in its reflection

The top photo is an "after" and the bottom two photos are befores. I really have to get used to posting pics, I tried following instructions from RoushStage's post. I have a few additional pics in my gallery if you care to see more. Thanks!

Great job for being a novice. Like the reflection pics a lot. Great work, once again. Way to go.

Great stuff. Looks like you're on your way. Black is a great color when it's done well!

Good job it can be done by hand as long as you keep at it and have a good process.
