  • Photoshoot: Two Mustangs, One Accord *no 56k*

Well since we finally put the new mods on LeeAnn's Accord, we decided it was time for a new photoshoot! I also fully detailed my car the day before (wash, clay, buff with ScratchX, coat of NXT 2.0 wax, wipe down with ICE Spray Detailer), this managed to get rid of all those "permanent" water spots I had mentioned in my other thread, along with help cut down in the swirl marks in the paint big time. It's not 100% perfect, but seeing as I used a $20 buffer to get these results, I'm very happy!

First up were some rolling shots. This was the first time I ever really tried to do motion shots of cars myself, so they aren't perfect - I wanted to capture the motion more in the wheels and background but whatever, I still like how they look. We actually first tried last night, but as you can see that wasn't working too well:

So today we tried again with much better results! I rode passenger for each ride to take the pictures while LeeAnn and Alex took turns driving:

Then we got all the cars and went to a closed-down Home Depot for the stills:

The reflection off my roof (thanks Meguiars hehe):

And this is my new puppy!! He's a miniature doberman pinscher (sp?), only 11 weeks old... sooo cute. He's so playful and follows us everywhere, hops up and down like a rabbit lol. My 6yr old rat terrier is really jealous though, hopefully he'll get over it and be nice lmfao, we just brought him home today, he keeps fighting with himself in the mirror haha

Looks great! That black fox could benefit from the same procedure used on your SN95 Stang

Yeah, I'm going to be giving the fox the same treatment pretty soon... probably the Accord as well. Thanks for the compliments guys.

            Let's make a $20 buffer club.

Looks great! Love the closed down Home Depot shots.

              Looking good!

To get the blurring effect you need to have the shutter speed really slow. It can be hard to do with a point and shoot camera but you might have a manual setting on your camera. If you don't have that you can put it on the "night" mode as that will automatically leave the shutter open longer.
