  • Black Maxima Detail

Here is a black Maxima I recently detailed. As you will see it was badly swirled. The paint wasn't too hard so it was fairly easy to correct.

    - Car was washed by customer and ready for me to begin with Clay
    - Clayed
    - #105 with W-8006 pad on the rotory
    - #9 with W-9006 pad on the rotory
    - Waxed with NXT 2.0 by hand
    - HD on the Tires
    Total Time: 9:00 hrs.

This is the car before. Doesn't really look too bad

The paint felt pretty rough from all the bonded contaminants
    Clay Aching

I begin with my test spot and found #105 on the W-8006 pad to be my best combo.

    and after applying NXT 2.0

There were still some imperfections that I couldn't risk removing but overall the car I would say is now 95% better than what it was and that NXT 2.0 really made the paint pop.

        Looks great, as always!

What speed were you running with the M105? Did you have any gumming up with the W-8006 pad? I've only used that combo once or twice doing some spot hitting, but never a whole car.

        Thanks,

Thanks guys. I was running the rotory at about 1000. There was no gumming up at all. M105 worked smoothly throughout the whole car.
