    nice write up and work.

Thanks for taking the time to test all the different waxes. The only one looked different(not better),but different was the Black Magic.Being darker.

like everything else in life,it's the time consuming prep that counts.

I can't decide if I should fly or drive to the open garage, I want to but its going to cost about the same either way. Road trip to the open garage anyone?

I was going to have another this summer but I'm just to busy this year.

That was actually the reason I set up the comparison.

A lot of pople claim brand "A" is better than "B" but you never really know until you compare them side by side.

Thanks for the compliment. I really enjoyed hosting the event. I was actually approached by a member of a local S2000 group this week wondering if I'd hold another for their them.

    Rasky,

Awesome event! I wish I lived closer as I would have loved to be a part of the event. Looks like everyone had a good time and learned a lot. I'm hoping Meg's sets up a class somewhere in the Northeast so as to perfect my DA skills.

Thanks again to Chad-aka Rasky for hosting the meet. It was very informative and helpful, especially for the people new to detailing cars. I along with Chad was quite amazed at how dark the Black Magic looked. However, it is a nightmare to remove and leaves a greasy film.

The NXT 2.0 kind of won the day. Had depth about the same as the Black Magic, but is oh so much more user friendly.

Disagree. I am the one in the picture using the Flex. I applied the same amount of pressure that I normally use on my random orbital.

Here is a pic of the clay test. You can see how the Turlte Wax Liquid clay seemed to have a cleaning effect on the paint, pictured on the left side. Unfortunately it didn't seem to touch the above surface defects which the Meguiars clay removed with little effort.
