  • Black Accord Day 1

Folks I couldn't figure out how to continue my original "Back From Near Dead" thread so I'm starting over. Sorry 'bout that. So, here's what I started with....

    Talk about swirls......

After clay, 3 hits with 83, one with 80 and NXT-2. All with my trusty PC. I've only done from the front of the front doors forward thus far.....

That paint fleck really pops when I finally got rid of the swirls! Megs has some truly awesome products! I wasn't holding much hope for eliminating the acid rain pits-they're just too deep for a PC. But, things are much improved!

    Tomorrow, I tackle the doors.

Looks great. What a huge improvement. Can not wait to see the whole car done. Way to go.

Congrats on such amazing results! Hopefully your CC wouldn't fail as 6th gen accords are known for their bad CC's.

          Re: Black Accord Day 1

Guys, thanks for the kind words. I'm very pleased with the performance of the 83 and 80 combination. I think I'm finally getting the hang of the PC and how to properly apply these products. And Bri, I too hope I'm not seeing the beginning of CC failure. The pits don't appear to indicate failure. In my neck of the industrial fallout woods, it's very common to to have a mid afternoon cloudburst followed within minutes by blazing sun. Not much I can do except keep a good coat of wax on the paint.

vBulletin has an option where we can merge this thread with another thread if you like?

Mike, feel free to merge-or is this something I should know how to do? LOL! Thanks for all your assistance as I slog my way through swirl elimination!
