  • Maintenance - Wash n QD -

Hi all. Just sharing some work done on last sunday. Since Sunday started with sunny clear skies, so I decided to sweat out abit (chubster )

Apologize for the dodgy pictures because I'm only a P&S guy. Still learning. I gotta get me self a DSLR..
The pictures were not altered as to enhance gloss or etc. Just trimmed the size and quality.

This was only a regular maintenance job.(7 days ago car waxed with NXT2.0) Spent around 4hours doing this - relaxed mode

Work done ( not good in story telling) :

    Wheels
Wheels and wells - pressure washed via BoschAquatak 1500x.
Wheels, wells, caliper, struts, arm,etc - soaked in APC - rinsed - soaked and scrub - rinsed
Tyres soaked in S.Deg - rinsed - soaked and scrub - rinsed

    Body
Wash via pressure washer BoschAquatak 1500x
    Soaked with Hyperwash
    Rinsed
    Washed via 2BM with NXT
Dried via waffle and pressurized air for nooks and crannies.

    Once dried, I just QD'd with #135.
Re applied #21 2.0 on wheel face and lip.
    Tyres dressed in ASD
Curing time was around 30mins (single coat only)
Windows cleaned with D120 afterwhich 2 coats of RainX.
    Cured in 40mins interval.

AND - sprayed the rear muffler with flat black as it was going greyish.

Carpets hoovered only. Vinyl wipedown with MF towel. No dressings

    Some before and after pics
(sorry my house compound very messy. Renovation next month!)

    BEFOREs

    AFTERs

Cant really see the gloss. Might be from the poor lighting

    Same here....

Then on MONDAY - noonish - it POURS!! .

Just wanted to show what NXT2.0 maintained with #135 can do.

    Thank you for viewing.

    Cheers,

    Tim

Hi Francis, the rims are of Work Euroline DH 18" on staggered stance.

Got any pictures with the full car in it? I'm digging the slammed stance and staggered wheels, with the VIP style stretched tires hehe. Looks great man, and nice job on the detail!
