  • NXT Metal Polish = great shine

Just received my NXT Metal Polish and tried it out during lunch on one wheel. Outstanding stuff.

Thanks to Mike for posting the Free Ship special...used it for the metal polish and some more NXT wash.

    Hi Totoland Mach,

    Looks good!

I demonstrated the NXT Metal Polish at both the SoCalm Miata Club Detailing Clinic this last weekend and at the Harley Davidson clinic on Sunday and it was a big hit at both of these events!

I saved your attachment to my hard drive, then uploaded your picture into your gallery so it can be inserted into this thread. I have the option of attaching pictures turned off for a host of good reasons, thus in order to share a pictures you must learn how to upload your pictures first to your gallery. All members of Meguiar's Online get their own gallery. (I know you know this, but others reading this thread might not)

Here's some tutorials on uploading and resizing images. You shouldn't ever upload any image over 700 pixels wide or you will force people to horizontal scroll.

Thanks for posting the gallery info again Mike. I really like the depth of shine of NXT over Mother's Billet Cream (and I do these wheels almost weekly, so the eyeball method is pretty doggone accurate).

I'll be removing the wheels this weekend to put the NXT polish on the inside of the wheel (which is fully polished and really gets the brake dust).

Great product....say hello to Jose for me.

There's a tip involving applying metal polish with a nitrile glove, then buffing as usual. Anyone try this? Mike, do you recommend?

I'm curious how this will do on my carboned up exhaust tips and my polished aluminum lipped wheels.

Should do just fine for both. My wheels (shown above) have full polish on the outer rim AND inner rim (maintenance item 4 sure). My big guage is going to be how long the polish lasts before I have to re-polish them.

Me too. My wheels are 2-piece and the barrel of the wheel is all polished aluminum.

Good thing for you is your wheels are multi-spoke so can't really see inside like my skinny 5-spoke face. When their dirty they really show.

Nice rim's Totoland Mach! I plan on purchasing the NXT All Metal Polish. I do have one question for you about your rim's. Are they clear coated? The reason is the I have clear coated alloy rim's and I want to make sure that it is ok to use the NXT polish on them. This is a pic of the rim that I have on my car.

DO NOT USE ... NXT Metal Polish on clear coated rims! Mine are polished aluminum with no clear coat. the NXT polish is an abrasive product designed to work with non-clearcoated wheels and other metals.

for a good finish on clear coat, I'd recommend NXT wax. I used that on my original Mach 1 wheels (polished/painted, clear coated).
