I'm not sure if this qualifies as an "Extreme Makeover" but I had a day off today so I spent a few hours on my Supra. Actually had alot of fun doing it all. Feel free to move the thread if there is a more appropriate location.
What I did:
-Wash (Meguiars Soft Wash Gel and Meguiars Synthetic Chamois)
-Cleaned windows (Meguiars Window Cleaner.. duh :P)
-Re-blacked trim and wipers (Non-Meguiars product, couldn't find BackToBlack at my local store)
-Cleaned wheels (Meguiars Wheel Cleaner)
-Wheel Shine (Other brand Spray on Shine)
-Wax (Meguiars Wet Look)
I didn't get any before pictures, but here's one of the car when it was dirty.
Dirty bum... (Think this was the day after I brought her home. 5hr dusty round trip)
Somewhere in the cleaning process - Prewax...
Reflection off the roof...
The reason I want a respray... (Yeah, I need a haircut.
)
Rear quarter...
All up it took about, 2.5hours with a pie and some breaks in between.
Any tips, advice are much appreciated!
