I got a Orange Neon to detail and even got a ride from the owner. I has an intercooled turbo and will fly.
I remember what Nappers said about how hard the clear on this Dodge is and he's right. Thanks Nappers!! I tried #83 and a 8006 pad with my rotary. It didn't make much progress so I went ahead and broke out some #84 and a 7006 pad. Wow! the 84 and cutting pad worked great on that hard clear coat. It finished down to what looked like LSP ready.
I had to make two passes on some deep scratches but mostly it only took one pass with the #84. Even though it looked great I went ahead and followed up the 84 with a 8006 and some #80. Topped it off with some NXT 2.0. Oh, and I did clay it first. I really needed it too. You could hear the clay going across the surface.
