  • BMW X5 Detail

After more hours than i choose to reflect back on here she is. I used the G110 m83 m80 and tech wax for the most part.

And a little bit of marketing in the bottom right corner for Mike haha.

Thank you Mikes and Meguiar's for helping me get a good start with good techniques and products

Looks great. It looks wet. Love the reflection shot on the hood. Great work. Way to go.

Man that paint looks great!! How hard was it to polish it and get those results with a DA polisher? My sister actually has a black X5 and I was going to give it a shot after I get a lot of practice! Those are awesome reflection shots!

My Black X5 is so hard to take care of and i will tell you why. The paint on this thing scratches so easily i NEVER wipe off the polish after i have worked it in. i just try to get as much polish up in the pad when i am done polishing or i take a clean finishing pad put it on the DA and use it to get up the rest. Same with the wax i use a finishing pad to get up the wax. This paint CANT be wiped. To actually get up the swirls was a bit off work but they came up alright the hard part is getting the products off. Let me know how it goes with your sister's X5. I would be interested to see if it has the same problem.

                        Good luck to you

Wow I didn't know that the paint surface was that delicate. That's crazy. Your hard work definitely paid off because your X5 looks excellent! Yeah I order all of my products today and can't wait to get them and practice. I will be doing my sisters car after some practice of course, but I also will be using Megs #80 and #83! I will let you know how it goes! Thank you for the information.
