  • Detailed: 2005 Scion tC

This was #2 of the day. Owned by one of my best friend's girl friend. With only 3k on the odo, a clump of red clay fell off a truck and hit the hood. This plus the usual dealer installed swirls, needed to be removed. This one received the same process as today's Tacoma so I'll keep it simple on the write up. Once again, exterior only.

    Wheels, Wells, Tires:
    Wheel Brightener 6:1
    ZEP Degreaser 4:1
    Hyper Dressing 4:1

    Wash Cycle:
Panels treated with ZEP degreaser 10:1
Hyper Wash 2oz. per 2.5 gallons

    Paint Correction:
    Damage on hood wetsanded
    #105 via rotary/LC White PAD
#82 via G110 to refine finish
#105 via G110/ LC orange pad for the rest of the vehicle

    Paint Protection:
NXT2.0 via G110/LC Red LSP pad

    Befores.......

    Afters.......

Looks good, nice work. I noticed that you used the G100 with M105, was it it easy to work with?

        Very nice work!
I really like that hood shot, it's very difficult so make white reflect like that

Great job. You really made the white pop. I also like the hood reflection shots. Great work as usual. Way to go.

Very nice job! I love it when I see white cars that reflect!

If I can ask, what's the reason behind applying degreaser on body panels?

They are pretty much like any small Asian car. 4cyls. and good on gas but well built. Toyota builds this car if you didn't know. The interior is well laid out. One thing, I see about 5-6 per day on the road. Customers must like them!!!

is it just me or does that look like white paint on the wheel in the before picture?

That's actually dust build up from the gravel road she lives on.
