      Kelv,

We used to be neighbors!!! I lived in Bay Ridge (on 72nd b/n 3rd and 4th Aves). SUV looks amazing bro. You wrote:

      1) Gold class wash
      2) Megs detaill clay (whole car )
      3) Wash number two with NXT car wash
      4) Megs cleaner polish step 2
      5) Professional pure polish mirror glaze
      6) Professional wax number 27
      7) Nxt 2.0 wax
      8) UQD whole car
      9) professional finishing spray to remove wax residue
      10) kissed the hood gently without leaving residues.
I use some different products, but your method is good. I think the second wash is not really necessary. (That will save you some time).

Here is what I do (when I'm not doing a major detail):

      1. Wash NXT.
      2. DC Paint Cleaner (only if there is a need - sometimes I skip this step).
      3. Show Car Glaze #7
      4. Two Coats of NXT

My car is much smaller than your SUV, so I can get it done really quick (less than 3 hours including wheels and interior).

          Kelv,
          Good work! But........
I wouldn't UQD the whole car till at least 12 hours after applying and wiping off the NXT 2.0. The NXT needs time to cure.
BTW, the NXT 2.0, looks better and better when a day or two goes by and it cures.

            Hey thanks for the reply.
I will skip the second wash next time.
Lemme know if you are in the neighborhood so we can compare shine in front of my neighbors who think im insane!

I actually picked up the live microfiber wash mit at puppy city in brooklyn.
I may try and use it as a polishing wool when i get my g110.

Re: My first real attempt at a proper detail

Sorry for the short post and not answering your question. I have a 04 XL 3/4 ton in Silver Birch. That is Silver Birch on your Yukon right. The polish that really makes the difference for me is #9 Swirl remover 2.0. It really seems to give the paint extra depth that is difficult to get with lighter colors. Plus you can usually get it at regular auto parts stores.
