2002 Acura CL DETAIL
Hello all. Here is a quick write up. This is a 2002 Acura CL that I worked on this past Sunday. The condition of the paint was pretty bad. Heavy contaminants along with hazy swirls as you will see on the following pictures. Looks like the car has seen many drive thru car washes.
PROCESS
Tires: APC & dressed with Hyper Dressing
Wheels: Wheel Brightener
Wash: Super Suds with no wax.
Clayed: Aggressive
Headlights: PlastiX with rotory
Polished: #80 with W-8006 pad & rotory. (The G110 required at least 3 passes with #80 to make it look right. Didn't want to do #83)
Final pass with #66.
Time: 4 hrs. 50 min.
After
You can see how the paint was hazed & swirled
The left side shows where I was polishing.
Tires here has the first pass of HD. I gave it another shot & wiped evenly after the picture
