Hi folks,
yesterday I gave my G220 the first go on my father's Astra H OPC.
The car is about 1,5 years and ran 51.000 km :driver: .
Car before being washed:

Tires were cleaned first.

Alloys were cleaned using P21S Wheel Cleaner.

Rinsed with water.

Rinsed the whole car with water.

Car washed using the 2-bucket-method and Meguiars NXT Shampoo plus Ultimate Wash Mitt.

Calipers were cleaned with NXT Shampoo and a toothbrush.

Clayed using Megs clay and Last Touch 1/1.

Clay after half of the car, the other half was done by my father.

Washed again using a cheap sponge and NXT Shampoo.

Detailing Swabs by Meguiar's.

Rinsed again.

After 2 times of washing and claying.

Dryed using Cobra Guzzler and Last Touch.

Taped off the car.

500W flootlight was nice to work with, but doesn't show the defect well on these pictures.

I started with #83 but because of a lag of time, I later had to use #80 only
.

My father applied Endurance High Gloss.

From...

...to with #80:

After polishing, without wax.

I tryed to do some 50/50 shots, but didn't work well.

While I was polishing my father applied #16 to the car.

i could remove a lot of scratches, just the hard ones rest.

3 more pictures of the wheels.

Exhaust was cleaned and polished with Autosol Chrom Polish, rear lights were done with Plast X. After finishing all, it was too dark outside so I shot some fotos today.
Sadly the weather is bad.

God is a granny.

Sun, come out!
Regards,
Sebastian
