  • overdone it a bit?

    Hiya
Ok this was to be a quick wash (after i got home from uni yesterday dinner time) as i start work at 6pm. The only thing i missed was waxing the alloys but they were only done last week with NXT all metal polish. I will keep the process short as it wasn't that dramatic, and i forgot the before.
Tyres: APC + round headed brush to attack my brown tyres (this worked really well but gave it two attempts in case i had missed bits)
Alloys: Ez Detail Brush help with the alloys (Nxt Gen Shampoo mix)
Inside: Vacuumed then dressed with autoglym Rubber + vinyl care.
Engine Bay: APC and an old MF, Dressed Plastic and Rubber with Sonus Total Eclipse.
Car: Washed with GC+Nxt mix (finding this really hand for cutting drying time down), and Grit Guard, buckets and Washmitt.
    Waxed: Gold Class Liquid wax
Trim: Dressed with Megs Trim Detailer + Rubbers with sonus prior to Megs.
    Arches: Autoglym Rubber + Vinyl
    Tyres: Hot shine
Started at 1pm finished around 4pm
I'm very pleased and the only thing left to do is the door shuts and hinges, Renault have sprayed a white grease on during its service, I will dig out my clear spray grease. Hope you like the results.

(Apologies for the state of my boot, but was to show the rubbers were all dressed and the boots plastic lip, which is a bit pointless as no one ever sees it, but i was being thorough)

(its looking cloudy as so put away before the inevitable happens, it always does when i wash my own car)

    Thank you for looking

Your right it is a mini. Its my older sisters and she is 25 this year (not a single driving lesson yet) so it been unused for the past 7 years (since she was 18) how terrible is that. Ill put a pic in from when i cleaned it last summer, it will get another go soon (its pretty easy it just gets dusty). And Thanx for the Nice words.

I want that mini. Hook a Meg brother up.

The Renault is awesome good work. Hopefully Alonso can put something together today at the Aus F1.
