  • ColorX + NXT 2.0 on my Mustang

This combo has been the best so far that I've used on my paint, as far as hiding (removing maybe?) the swirl marks the paint has. Since I don't have access to a machine, I've been trying for a while to find a good product to make the paint look better that I can apply by hand.

Used the same combo on my friend's silver GT I posted pictures of before, and it came out awesome, so I finally got around to giving my car the same treatment.

Only took two pictures at the local car show on Friday. In about two weeks I'm going to install my '01 Cobra front bumper and my 18x9.5" chrome '00 Cobra R wheels... so you guys can expect LOTS of pictures then.

Re: ColorX + NXT 2.0 on my Mustang

Forgot to mention that I also gave the headlights a coat of PlastiX, on my old Mustang I had the same aftermarket clear corner lights and they got hazed over time and turned yellow... I'm hoping to keep that from happening on these so if anyone has an idea that might work better than an occasional PlastiX application, let me know!

And I also picked up "Hot Rims" metal polish, which was used on my exhaust tips and the chrome in the engine bay, maybe I should take some pictures of that too.

ColorX + NXT 2.0 is a great two-step approach by hand that will work on most all cars most all of the time.

              Easy to find too!

              Nice work!

Yeah, me either. I just called my paint guy and he told me the bumper should be done by wednesday, thursday at the latest. I just have to order the other rim (probably will do today or tommorow) and I'll be ready to install everything next week during my spring break.

Thanks to Mike for the suggestion on using ColorX and NXT 2.0!
