  • New Landrover Freelander - what lays ahead ???

Well, picked this up late friday afternoon so got a bigger project to work on now. At the moment all i did on saturday was put some #80 on the rear passenger door to take out some marks the dealer reckoned they had removed for me.
Also had a go for the first time with LP using the G220 on a finish pad (w9006) speed 3. Did half the bonnet to see how it worked, and then finished it with double wax 1 hard 2 soft. I definately could see a line down the bonnet between the sections.
Didnt have a lot of time to do a full correction on it as it was so cold and later afternoon (had typical dealer inflicted swirls, despite the dealer saying they were getting it valeted on friday and need all morning and until 4 in the afternoon). As it had been washed i tested every panel for wax precense and surprise surprise every panel squeaked. So put a coat of #21 sythentic sealant on it followed by a coat on #26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax.

comment appriciates and any suggestions on what i can expect from the paint hardness, and what LSP to use
