1982 Mercedes Benz 240D or The power of #80

I did this back last summer, but came across the pics on my computer and figured I'd post them up. Its is my father-in-laws 240d with like 300k miles on it. He drove it down here to Raleigh from Kentucky and we polished it up while he was here. It just got 2 passes of 80 and a coat of #26.

Quite rare colour, but it looks in top shape.

Its the newest car my father in law owns. Most of them are late 40s early 50s. The 240D is his favorite though. Drives it everyday. He was astonished at how well it polished up.
