    i couldn't tell, but i guess there were some etchings still on the trunk? i couldn't see any......
    Yes..there was sill etching left! Not as noticable as before, but it was really deep and hard to get out!

      Good work on the E30. I would not worry to much about etching, as the car was abused for it's life and one cannot wave a magic wand make like new.

      I will have to keep an eye on ebay for detailing tools.
