Great work! I definately agree Meguiars products are just awesome. And your right, most people dont see the paint like we do, their eyes are not trained to see the defects up close just the paint from a distance that looks good.

Good job. That reminds me of my sisters IS 250. Looked that bad after the first time she took it to some wash place in LA. Car was less than a week old and had been delivered in plastic.
Looking to forward to seeing the after pictures.

Who ever owns that car needs to wash their drying towels in between drying sessions, and keep them in a cleaner environment. (not in the garage.)

It looks great though now that you took care of it, the test area as hemi said looks great!

The test spot came out looking good. I'm sure the whole car did too. Great job on doing the job right! I'm sure she was happy once she got the car back.

RaskyR1By the looks of your test panel she turned out great...I cannot believe how bad that car looks after one year!

Stop dude its a joke over here and then people look at you like your crazy when you say you were polishing a car for 10 hours! In my friends eyes this car looked good, she just wanted wax job done but I hooked her up anyways. Im hoping to do some good write ups every couple of weeks now because there is an endless supply of severly damaged paint jobs around, its just convincing them to get the work done that will be my problem. Thanks for the reply, really like your work, appreciate it.

Jimmy The DetailerDude, that's fantastic! Meguiar's rules! Great work

Yes Meguiars rules no doubt about it. An absolute pleasure to work with and a pleasure to be apart of the family here!

Jimmy The DetailerPS. What rotary did you use and was #83 with 8006/PC not good enough?

I use a Festool rotary. Cant find the exact name or number now but its a good machine. Made in Germany. Lucky enough this was my second Lexus IS250 to do and both were equally as bad. I did try #80/8006/rotary first but couldnt quite get the deep defects. Im not that used to doing moderate defect removal with the pc, only got one a few months ago and need to get practicing with it to explore its limits properly. Thanks for the comments Jimmy.

    Lexus is250 Black and swirly!

Hi all, my first time post with pics so dont be expecting anything special!

This a 1 year old lexus owned by a friend of mine whom I used to work with. I did the car last week and was limited with my time so this is the best I could get out of it. Sorry no proper after pictures in the sun, it was too dark the next morning when I was returning the car. It will be due back in for a wash next week and I will upload some pictures then too.

Ok, nice low sun to catch all the swirls, mind your eyes!!

Here is my test spot before:

    And after:

And a couple of reflection shots at each stage on the test spot:

    Brief list of my process:
    1 - #83 with w7006 rotary
    2 - #80 with w8006 pc
    3 - #21 with w9006 pc

After pics to follow. Thanks for looking and any comments welcome.
I will try do a much more detailed write up next time.
