Hey Everyone,
Friday started out cloudy on my way to my client's house. After I got the truck out of the garage and I was 3/4's of the way finished washing it, this happened.

The sky just opened up on me for about two hours. I am glad they have a garage.
After I finished getting wet from both the hose and mother nature I pulled the truck inside the garage and dried it off. Once it was dry I started on the interior. The interior was really bad, it had years of ground in dirt. I take these kinds of interior's as a challenge to try and make them look better. In talking with the client's they both understood that it will not be returned to showroom new condition, but they will be happy with any amount of improvement over its current state. My interior process was to first remove all mats and vacuum out everything. Then I cleaned all of the leather seating surfaces with APC at 10:1 and a terry towel. I then tackled one seating area at a time and sprayed APC+ on the carpet, scrubbed with a Meg's interior brush, then extracted with my Durrmaid hot water extractor. Here are the interior before and after pictures.

This next picture is of a surprise I found under the third row seating area. What could the Teal Green stuff be?

I later found out what the Teal Green colored stuff was after the hot water started to work on it. It actually smelled good. So what was it ? You guessed it fabric softener. I was talking with the client's wife and she said to the best of her knowledge about a year ago a larger container of fabric softener leaking in the bag after buying it and she did not realize it was this bad.
After:

I was able to get about 80-90% of the fabric softener out of the carpet.
Once the interior was complete I went after the exterior. I clayed, then polished with 80, then finished with 21. This was all done using the g100. Here are the before and after pictures.
Before:

Yes the reflection do look good without 80 and 21.
Afters:

What really made this rainy Friday detail completely do-able was the fact that the garage was heated with radiant floor heating. It heated you up first not just the air. Sorry for no posting sunny pictures, but here on the east coast the sun was GONE when I finished at 5:30 PM. I was also asked to detail their two other cars this winter. I will be looking forward to work in this garage again. Any comments would be appreciated
