Just detailed my 2001 Ford Expedation!

    Use the following process,
    Wash (Santa Fe Enchadle)
    Clean (Deep Crystal Cleaner)
    Polish (Deep Crystal Polish)
Wax (Layer 1) - (NXT Tech Wax)
Wax (Layer 2) - (NXT Tech Wax)

    Followed by the final outcome,

I just bought some H-Tech Yellow Wax to top the NXT Tech Wax.. what do you think?

Also it's not the best picture so I will take full lighting pictures tommorow because I want your advice as I truly want the deepest paint and this is a clear coat finish (factory) from 2001.

Give us some direct sun shots. It just still appears to have some cob webbing in the finish. Do you have a PC or an orbital? If so, pick up some #80 Speed Glaze and go over you truck with that. Follow that with Tech Wax and you will be into money!

I have an old Craftsman Buffer/Polisher.. I also have TurtleWax Foam / Terry / Lamb bonnets.

I have locally acces to my arsenal then if needed I can pick up Swirl Remover 2.0 and some kind of polish from the professional line at PepBoys as well as the cleaner wax. I am going to use vinger to strip the wax I guess then redo it even though it took me a few days to do.

I will get sun shots before anything though hopefully another layer of wax.. the yellow maybe will help who knows.

no need to remove the wax if your going to be polishing, the polish will remove the wax on its own, save yourself the effort

                  Hey,

Do not use vinegar. The #9 Swirl Remover will remove the old wax anyway.

You will need to first try #9. If that does not remove the swirls, then you will need to move up to #83 DACP.

Meguiar's #26 will not cover the swirls.

Pull the SUV out into the direct sunlight. With full-on sun, you will see whether or not you have swirls remaining.

Good luck and keep us posted!
