Touch up of a showcar

This Corvette has won numerous trophies, to the name of almost 100. Well tomarrow it competes in the prestigous Ecklers Orlando Corvette Show and the owner wanted me to touch it up.

My brother and I arrived and gave the car a quick wipe down with Lasttouch Detail Spray. I then polished the car with #80/PC/8006 on speed 6, then hand polished with #7, followed by #26 via PC. This was topped by #16, which as become my favorite combination and took this Vette to a whole new wet level.

My favorite combo...



Even after polishing with #80 there was still faint swirling, but the improvement was 95 percent better...

Since my company is Tropical Detailing Excellence, the owner let my brother and I take is 150K Vette for a ride to try to find some tropical looking pictures that will become the face of my new web page (should be up in a week!)





I will have to retouch this photo (darken it slightly) and it will probably become Tropical Detailing's background

Gorgeous job on that incredible car! I bet it was awesome to take for a spin! How did it do in the competition, do you happen to know? At any rate, beautiful job!

Thanks for the compliments. I will see about getting the 5th picture blow up after I correct it in photobucket. Its going to be a picture on the main page of my website, tropicaldetailing.com, when I finally get it running.
