Set out to clean up a 98 A3 today. The car had not been washed in well over a year, and no one knows when it was last polished and waxed.
It is spring, so all the roads are really wet. The car was extremely dirty...
First off i sprayed it down with tar remover and emulgating fluid.
Tried to rinse with running water bu it would not come off, so I went for the high pressure water. Still did not get all, so i did another round of soaking.
-Washed two times with Cobra Chenille microfibre mitt and Gold Class
-Dried with chamoisX2 followed by Watermagnet
-Clayed with GC water and blue clay
A bird decided to drop his load... Quite a big one too, so it was another round with the mitt..
-Dried again.
-Applied DC2 Polish with hi-tech applicator pad -let sit for approx 40 mins
Buffed with Cobra Microfibre
-Applied #21 -Let sit for about 35 mins
Buffed with CobraMFs
Did not remember to take a pic of the cars side before start. This is the hood

#21 doing what it does best..

so it becomes like this

Bye for now!
