First attempt this weekend

I used to show a car about 15 yrs ago so I'm not exactly new to auto detailing, but I have been away for several yrs, and there are lots of new products out now. So I detailed the exterior of our two cars this weekend. Here was the recipe:

1) Wash w/ Meg's Gold Class
2) Clay with Meg Smooth Surface (using QD)
3) Fine-Cut Cleaner #2
4) Show Car Glaze #7
5) Gold Class liquid wax

Looks great, that's a lot of work, how did you apply the #2, #7 and the Gold Class by hand or machine?

Well, I took off a half day on Friday and started working on them. I applied the #2 and #7 with an 8" orbital for the large areas, and by hand on the majority of the vehicles. Yeah, it was a LOT of work, but totally worth it. And it was such a beautiful weekend, made it seem more like play than work.

I plan on doing some interior detailling this coming week so maybe I'll have some more photos.

Your vehicles look better then new. Way to go. A lot of work by hand but your results were worth it.
