  • Spring Cleaning!!

I was on spring break this past week, so I worked on my Jeep some.

    My process was as follows:

-Washed with Gold Class soap and Sheep Skin Mit
-Clayed with megs smooth clay kit
-#80 on the Hood.. The rest of the Jeep didnt have to many swirls, so I only did the hood to see if I could remove some water spots..
-DC1 on everything besides the hood
-#7 on everything besides the hood
    -Nxt on everything
    -#26 on everything
-Megs cleaner wax on all door jambs
    -ASD on Fender wells
#80 on rims.. Applied with Mother power ball
    -NXT on rims
-I also pressure washed the under body and used No Touch tire shine under there.

    After wash:

I changed out my Winter/Offroad tires for the stock rims:

I also took the Rocker rails off and a skid plate. I had planned on taking all the skids off(4), but I decided to leave the others on.

Before taking rocker rails off and tranfer case skid:

    Stock tires:

Some scratches that I worked on using Scratch-x:

I pulled it into the garage and began work! I ended up waiting till the next day to work on the paint..

    AFTERS!!!:

        Bluelibby04,

Awesome job, looks like brand new! I especially like the attention you gave to your undercarriage, most people neglect that area.

BTW- you might want to consider having your undercarriage oil sprayed in the fall, I'm in Ohio and always have had that done in the fall, nothing will ever rust! (I assume they salt your roads too)

That was alot of hard work. But the end result was worth it. What a fantastic looking finish. Way to go.

Nice job on the Jeep! I never seen someone remove the tire's and clean them this way. But that's when you can tell a person that takes detailing seriously.

Nice looking KJ! That blue really looks sharp! On a side note, those Hella foglights, are they a special mount for the Liberty or is that some sort of custom job? I've just never seen them mounted there and I wasn't sure how they were mounted there.

                  Nope, thats all custom.

Cobalt2006, I was changing out the winter/offroad wheels, so I went ahead and took the time to clean all the suspension and calipers..

Is it just me, or are my pics gone? Do they get removed after a few days or something?

No, they should stay. Maybe its a problem with photobucket, because I can't see them either.
