  • Messy Sequoia 56k maybe

Hey all, dont have any pics but I will try to get some tomorrow for you. Detailed my fathers 2004 Toyota Sequoia today. The truck has spent its whole life outside, only washing has been done by carwash and its only been waxed once. As it sounds it was in pretty bad shape.

    The process was
    -Nxt wash
    -Clayed with QD as lubricant
    -DA'd with M83
    -Another coat of M80
-Coat of Gold Class applied by DA
    - Tires were done with endurance gel
-Leather was done with detailer line leather cleaner and conditioner

Like I said ill have some pics tomorrow but it was a 100% turnaround swirls were 98% eliminated. And I also didnt go into a full detail, but it looks good nontheless. Supposed to rain tonight but we'll see how it looks tomorrow in the sun.

Here is a quick pic i snapped with an led flashlight outside just now before the rain, the white stuff is dust, the joy of black. And the one little scratch is nothing compared to the rings and halograms that used to surround whatever light was shining on it. thats also a reflection of the camera and there was no flash used. The paint is pretty reflective now. Some of the deeper scratches could probably be taken out with another pass of 80 but 98% scratch free was good enough for him. Not bad for a truck thats never been waxed really and has 60k miles on it and 3 years worth of carwash scratches. The only crappy part was trying to clay it all off.

Here are some pictures from this morning after a night of rain. The paint isnt perfect but looks much much better then it did, like i said in its life it was waxed once. Sorry no befores. Also this was my first time with the DA getting practice since I just started my detail business. Not new to detailing just the DA. Thanks

        Overall picture sorta.
