Here the Old Max, only it was dirty with mud, concrete dust and some included overspray as stated in a previous post plus something new splattered on my car, so a good cleanin' was in place for my good old Max in return for carrying me around trough the Harsh environment of higway construction
, this car is normally cared for with the pc and Meg's (and sometimes some other stuff I have around.) so, difficulty grade i would say, 4/10 (10 being very difficult) due to removing annoing overspray with SSD-clay and thicker solution NXT Carwash for added lubrication. perfect? nah, but lightyears from where i did started out with.
(Unfortunately I had to "Shack" the pics, the Gallery kept kickin me out for what reason? all other links accepted me. any idea?)

Looks like it is a little dirty on this side.

On this side the damage after 1 week!

The tail end was just dulled out with gunk.

Mystery splatter? it was some sort of overspray, at first i had the idea of an spray of an concrete saw, but it was to "gummy" and even the clay did not like it to much, weird enough it missed my spoiler and some splatter i did remove already off the rear window, reluctantly but its dissapeard in the end.

Here the rinse off, I volunteerd the synthetic sheep to do the "scrubbing" to remove the last missed "kernels" of overspray and to my surprise the old wax layer on the hood was pretty much intact after all this! (least amount of overspray and previously 2 overspray sessions removed and multiple layers wax applied as bufferzone)

I had to try something else for the tires and had a spray bottle of that birdie stuff, and it was not bad, nice clingon action though

Done with washing, DCPC mix with S-X & DC Polish (not recommended by Meguiar's) applied with PC and it cleaned the paint nicely and had a nice hang time but not strong enough to remove all RIDS and some blemishes, so stepped up to the Rotary with M80 and LC orange light cutting pad to remove the worst defects, switched back to the LC white polishing pad with M80, then back to the PC with LC white polishing pad with M80 & followed with DCPP and LC black finishing pad. Finished with NXT Liquid wax applied with LC black finishing pad .
Not bad, but still was not "it" for me, so searched for the LSP and the final results were in

Hood in the shade.

Sharper images.

Here i can see the neighbours navigator.

It is evening and Max is Back to "new" I would say, all black trim, wells and rubber worked on with Protech Protectant for that "Done" look and the windows done with 303 windshield wash.

Sunday morning shine

Monday Morning at the dentist parking lot, already a layer of dust on the car

Here you can see the layer of dust on top of the car.

Last reflection shot with part of my highway construction job on the background
Overall, beside some cosmetic repairs are the results up to par? IMHO, yes....at least satisfying to my standards, are the steps i made the right ones for this process?.... maybe? and if someone can advise me for one or another step or product, I would appriciate that! all feedback is welcome
