Well, that's what the finish looks like according to the dealer! This white 545i came out fantastic.

Here's a couple of before's....white can show scratches under proper lighting!

Next up: some compounding that I "snuck" some #83 in while I was doing the car. The dealer is a 3M person and I'm trying to convert him to more Meguiar's products. Also, the 83 + compound extends the time with the rotary and acts as a good polisher.

After compounding/83 + Glaze, I power washed to remove excess from body seams and added #26 (shop standard because of the way it dries)

Overall, the white is stunning. I'll try to get some outdoor shots today as the new owner is picking up the car.

Here's the outside shots. New owner picked it up this afternoon. Now, I've got a swirled Black BMW X5 to do....

The last pic with the shop door open shows the reflection the best.

Which Glaze did you use in the instance? Looks fabulous by the way! Great job again on another BMW.

jonny: I worked with #7 on this one. Sometimes, I use 3M glaze (have no idea of the number, but it's gray in color and the dealer has a gallon of it).

I like to work the glaze like a polish to make sure there are no swirls left after compounding.

We always use #26 on all the BMW's because it dries clear and lasts for the new owner of the car.

we use the ceiling flourescent units mounted on the wall plus 4 halogens on stands. They are really needed for compound work and working on dark interiors.

The shop floor is epoxy and is 7 year's old....the dealer really maintains this floor (daily mop + weekly all purpose cleaner).
