That is such a transformation! What products and technique did you use?
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

We used #49/WOOL/ROTARY <---(not recommended by Meguiars!!) followed by DACP/8006/PC followed by #20/8006/PC.

This old thing was so much fun to polish.

WOW!!! That's amazing! I am so excited to see that. My grandfather passed away last year and he has an old red ford that looks right around the same age. I have a ton of great memorys with him and that truck. I learned to drive in the back fields when I was tall enough to see over the dash. His hasnt run in probably 10 years, its just sitting in the woods rusting away. This summer if my grandmother lets me, I plan on striping some of the panels off it. Id like to restore half the hood and hang it in my garage.

I have to ask... what made you decide to use #49?

You do amazing work, I can't say that enough.

                  Thanks for the compliments.

This truck has a very thick coat of enamel on it. The guy that painted it still owns it. I color sand for him and I know how he paints. I knew I had plenty of material to play with.

It sits just outside of a body shop and isn't just oxidized but it was also covered in overspray.

#49 has similar traits of #4. I had to get very aggressive to deep clean the finish and #49 worked out perfect.

WARNING: Do not use #49 on your modern clear coat/ base coat or you will seriously damage it.
