  • My First Detailing Job on a Black Car.

Hi guys! I have been detailing my relatives and friends cars for the past 2 months whenever I have time, FOR FREE, just so I could get a good grasp on how to use the Rotary Buffer. I have Detailed about 5 cars in all since I learned using the Rotary (newbie here with the rotary) and this is the first black car I have detailed. For all the cars I have detailed (all in bad shape) I used 1 pass #84 Compound Power Cleaner - Wool Pad, 1 pass #83 D.A.C.P - W7000 and 2 coats #26 Yellow Wax - Hi Tech Applicator Pad. I wanted to follow up the black car with 1 pass of #80 Speed glaze with the W8006 with a G-100 but the sad thing is I still don't have a bottle of #80 speed glaze. I also have Pictures of another the car I detailed just before the New Year, I used the same process but this time it’s a silver SUV. Sorry I don't have pictures before I detailed it. I know its not one of the best detail jobs in this forum, I know I'm way behind all of you guys here but I just wanted to post the pictures anyway.

All pictures were taken on a cloudy day late in the afternoon.

That first picture is amazing, the paint looks so wet and deep. Great job!
