  • Detailed CR-V Hood

    Hello All,
This is my first post on this site. I was very excited to come upon these forums so I wanted to post a pic of my best detailing job ever. This is a reflection of my garage from the hood of my 1997 Honda CR-V taken on June 2006.

You know - photographing a mirror and saying it's the hood of your car is illegal

Nice job but do you realize that (if your whole car looks like this) it could be a real threat to other drivers driving around in a mirror like that

Wow....that must be the best compliment I have ever received about my car...thanks. Just to cure any doubts...here are some other pics with the whole car..
This one is another pic of the hood, only at a different angle:

This is a picture of the entire car...but this is before I took car of that scratch on the fender(my sis scratched into mailboxes):

And finally...I had a little bit of the Meguiar's insane shane tire spray...so it wasn't worth keeping any, so I decided to use the rest on this wheel..to bright...lol:

I like my tires shiny, I think it really sets off the car and will make people notice that your paint is ALSO shiny. Nothing beats getting looks while cruising in a Nissan Quest...or Honda CR-V lol. Sometimes I'd think people are looking at a car from the muscle car era.
