Re: Black C6 Vette Convertible
thanks for the advice...is it ok to put M21 over the NXT metal polysh? I was surprised to see how well it worked even though it was applied directly to paint.
As for the shifter...that is the standard shifter for the '07 automatics. The car is completely stock for now. Anyone have any suggestions for a good aftermarket exhaust system?

Re: Black C6 Vette Convertible
Nice work, and although NXT metal polish is safe for clearcoats, you would be much better served using #21 on the rims instead. It will last longer and increase the shine since your rims are painted (clearcoated).

Re: Black C6 Vette Convertible
Looks great, being a fellow black Corvette owner, I know what it takes to make them stand tall. That black looks dripping wet!
Is that an aftermarket shifter? I had the C6 ZO6 shifter installed in my C5, but that shift nob doesn't look like what comes out of the factory....could be the angle too.
My brother has a 2006 C6 coupe, I never really liked those GM badges either. Seemed like an inconspicuous way to advertise for GM, even if you have been under a rock and don't know that the Corvette is GM's flagship. At any rate, those little emblems definitely get in the way of waxing and polishing.
Again, great job.

Black C6 Vette Convertible
Spent a 4 day weekend detailing my brand new corvette in this order....
-Washed with Gold Class car wash
-Quick Detailer to remove any water marks/left-over soap (finish was new and claying seemed pretty unnecessary)
-Dental Floss to remove dinky GM emblems from the sides
-M7 Showcar Glaze with the PC (polishing pad)
-M21 Synthetic Sealant (2 light coats on finishing pad, removed with Goldclass Microbiber Bonnets on the cutting pad)
-NXT All Metal Polysh on the wheels, licence plate frame and exhaust tips
-and Endurance High Gloss Tire shine....but im waiting to get a good applicator so that can wait till next weekend
Overall, I was very pleased with these products and to commence, Raddy21 and I had a little photoshoot on this 70 degree December day in Maryland
