Looks good! Sorry to hear about the wheels, AWD didn't help you out!?!? Well, I too know how quick the a little extra touch on the gas pedal will send you where you don't want to go when its slick. Luckily I didn't hit anything but, in the blink of an eye I was sliding sideways and stopped just before hitting a mail box.
Thanks gb387! I'm still getting used to AWD. If I would have been thinking maybe hitting the gas would have carried the momentum forward down the road instead of into the curb. Oh well, hind site is always 20/20. I went with the SS over the Lighting because of the AWD. I can only afford one ride so it has to go in winter also. Figured the Lighting was too much hp for just rear wheel drive in the Wisconsin snow. Do you drive yours in the snow?
I too was looking at the SS when I bought my L(really I am a Chevy guy), but it would have been a very tight fit in my tiny garage and I found a dealer in Minnesota that REALLY wanted to sell the Lightning they had, it was the end of December and there was foot of snow on the ground.
I do drive my truck in the winter/snow, couple reasons I don't mind. I live 2 miles from work on well traveled roads and we really don't get much snow in the winter, when we do, its typically cleaned off right away. You definitely have to be very careful when its slick, you are better off with the truck you have, where you live. If I was any farther north I wouldn't have bought it.
